Congratulations to our IPOF Life Member Karan Munuswamy M.D., on receiving the Volunteer Achievement Award from the American Diabetes Association. He was honored at the 11th Annual Valor Awards Luncheon on May 11th at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66. He is also a member of numerous professional organizations and has dedicated countless hours to finding a cure for diabetes.
Congratulations to Kutty Chandran M.D., Internal Medicine physician in Coral Springs on his appointment as the President of Broward County Medical Association. He is the first Asian to be a President of this association. His inauguration will be on October 22, 2011.
PECOS is the enrollment system for Medicare providers and suppliers.
Physicians will need an approved enrollment record in PECOS to continue to order or refer items or services for Medicare beneficiaries.
